Support us as together we alleviate extreme poverty, grow health and wellness, educate and build community and advance human dignity for indigenous peoples in the Alta and Baja Verapaz region of Guatemala! The Maya people native to this area were hard hit by COVID 19 which overwhelmed health care, shut down all transportation in the country, and brought about starvation and malnutrition to this developing nation. We work with a local NGO that lives with and befriends the rural, remote villagers while training them on life altering improvements that they can carry out in their own lives. Commitments are made and followed through on for both sides so in a spirit of love and respect we can give the Maya more control over the course of their lives. Opportunities improve.
