Youth
Housing Coalition mobilizes the next generation of leaders by providing
advocacy and RE development training for young people and partnering with
government agencies to build affordable housing. YHC has given workshops to
over 5,000 students, recent grads and community advocates in over 10 states.
With a foothold in Atlanta, YHC has partnered with their Youth Action Board to
train GenZ on Housing Advocacy in local government. YHC is also a partner
developer for the project "Jardin de Estrellas" a 27 unit Tiny Home
Community in Antelope Valley, CA. Jardin is a development zoned for Farm Worker
Housing and is owned by a Community Land Trust, empowering local residents. YHC
is the Community Developer for Jardin, ensuring stewardship and prioritization
of zero-displacement practices and sustainability initiatives. As a
community-driven developer, YHC is committed to a bold vision of design
excellence, educational advancement, and environmental stewardship, both in
building construction and equitable outcomes.
