Gyum River

Vardan is the founder of the “GyumRiver” youth team of the Gyumri river cleaning program. With a small group of young people, they gathered about eighty volunteers from city, and with support from the Gyumri municipality, cleaned the Gyumri river.Being guests of different TV channels, Vardan and friends tried to spread ecological conscience among the people.They have installed a garbage collection network in the river, which is regularly cleaned by the employees of Gyumri Municipality. The "GyumRiver" team is the winner of the Youth Award of the RA Ministry of Education and Science in the field of nature protection.
