The Tororo Youth Initiative

This is an empowerment project for the Youth in Uganda who were unable to finish their schooling due to COVID. There are thousands of teen youth who missed their last one or two years of education when the schools were closed due to COVID. Most of these youths cannot or do not want to return after two years to complete their classes. These youth are being taught skills to start their own small business and be able to have a career to support themselves. Skills such as sewing, carpentry, welding, hair dressing are being taught along with small business skills so they can successfully open and run their own business.
