Oct 14 THE HOME PROJECT BOYS

For the last two years, we have been going to the HOME PROJECT's Socrates Boys Shelter twice a month on Sundays to empower refugee unaccompanied minors through the lives of the Nobel Peace Laureates of PeaceJam. As members of the PeaceJam Greece Community Team, we do teambuilding activities with the refugee boys and workshops on community building, inclusion and human rights. We play games, discuss issues going on in the countries that the boys come from and the root causes of migration. We have volunteerd to support the Home Shelter's Community events and attended their special celebrations. Some of the boys are now a part of the Greece and European Mentors team and continue to support newer members of the Home Project. It has been a really amazing experience !
