About this Act
Thank and support an essential services worker.
If it wasn't for millions of people taking care of the essential services supporting us, we would not be able to stay at home and shelter during the pandemic. The following is a list (and by no means exhaustive) of the sectors that have people putting their lives on the line to provide us with the services we need to survive:
Private and Public Healthcare
- Law Enforcement, public safety officers and first responders
- Food and Agriculture
- Energy Sector
- Waste and Water Waste
- Transportation and Logistics
- Public Works and Infrastructure
- Communications and Information Technology
- Community and Government
- Critical Manufacturing
The easiest way to thank an essential service worker is to be kind, courteous and thank them.
You could also considering donating to relief services that will help people who have been laid off or who are working long hours for little pay.
