Dec 08 Mentoring Unaccompanied Refugee Youth with Olympic Athletes

PeaceJam Greece in collaboration with the International Olympic Truce Committe AND SEGAS joined efforts to provide refugee unaccompanied minors with weekly athletics activities by Olympic Medalists in Handball, Judo, Track and Field. Joined by PeaceJam college mentors, boys and girls came together bridging volunteers from three domains to provide refugee youth access to talented athletes who generously gave their time, tips and care to inspire youth to reach their dreams and care for their physical and mental health through sports.
