MLK Service Day - UpCycling Colors

We partnered with Upcycling Colors to bring school supplies to UNDERSERVED schools around the world. We rotated between various stations which included sorting writing utensils, reconditioning note and activity books, sharpening pencils, refurbishing stickers, and more! We prepared supplies for ultimate delivery to schools, after school programs, orphanages, and refugee centers. Parents traveling overseas in the coming months volunteered to take a suitcase of these items to be delivered to partners in target cities. This event reinforced the impact of a giving spirit, sparked creativity, supported art/project-based learning, and diverted materials from landfills!
