We held a gratitude box in the high school and middle school so that people who wanted to give thanks for any aspect of their lives had the ability to do so. We also talked to 9 teachers and asked them if they could hold time for 5 minutes of mindfulness at the beginning of their classes for a couple of days in order to give people the opportunity to write a gratitude note. We will then be taking these notes and turning the into a decorated poster to show what my school is grateful for. We spread awareness of the positive effects of gratitude, and why it is important in everyday life.
