Oasis is a non-governmental and nonprofit organization free from political, religion and ethnic divisions’ works with youth in NAKIVALE refugee settlement. Oasis strives to create a future where youth are able to facilitate their own development.

OASIS works in program area of youth entrepreneurship, promotion of environment and agriculture development, youth empowerment, capacity building, education, community mobilization and Awareness

Oasis thrives to remove obstacles to youth employment so that they have sustainable live hood ,sustain income generating lead to the healthy life ,have the better understanding of their right of their youth hood and make a successfully living standard. Unlike most organizations working with youth but Oasis enables youth to come up with their own solutions in opening forums rather than dictating them what to do

OASIS was found on 25th February 2020 by the group of youth comprising the need of the community most in the youth development stage due to the luck of income generating activities in the settlement the youth is so much led into vagabondage and unhealthy habits , others area orphans, others are illiterate ,others are undergoing a race discrimination because of their color that they did not choose by themselves (albino) others are set apart in the community due their disabilities yet disability is not inability and we finally came up with this OASIS so that we can stand together toward this hopeless community and believe that they can play a great role in the development of their youth hood and their community

VISION

OASIS has a mission of building a youth to change the lives of youth towards a positive life style and get a society in which the youth are able to facilitate their own development and their communities in general

MISSION

Oasis to make useful youth to the community by first empowering under privileged both youth and teenagers through extra varies activities and specialized studies.

OBJECTIVES

• To support youth undertake their own development

• To unite and empower youth both socially and economically.

• To improve the youth creativity and access to information that can help a positive transformation

• To create an environment that can youth participate in the decision making

• To promote awareness and wellbeing of youth by working toward promoting gender equality, youth right ….,poverty ,hunger, abuse,HIV/AIDs and violence through providing economic opportunity, developing life skills , promoting healthy living and holding sporting events ,drama activities , debates and trainings.
