Children of the Light is an award-winning documentary on the life story of the late Desmond Tutu and his journey during crucial years of anti-apartheid struggle in South Africa. We are headed to launch a series of events that engages high school students to explore their versions of peacebuilding in their lives. We are looking to engage young adults who seek direction in their lives and want to gain valuable tools to navigate life struggles. We are also headed to have a powerful discussion based on the documentary’s content highlighting inequality, injustices, compassion, empathy, and finding sensible ways to bring peace to violent situations in our lives and community.
